About Conor Byrne Pub
Conor Byrne Cooperative represents Ballard's first community-owned music venue with over 600 member-owners. The historic building dates to 1901 when it opened as The Owl Saloon - making it one of Seattle's oldest operating music venues.
Music Programming
The cooperative showcases diverse live music seven nights a week - from their legendary Sunday open mic to country dance nights - Irish music sessions - matinee shows - and ticketed concerts. The venue has become a cornerstone of Seattle's independent music scene.
Community Ownership
Formed in May 2024 - the cooperative model ensures the venue's long-term sustainability while preserving its cultural significance. Members receive drink specials - event access - and voting rights at annual meetings. The venue offers ADA accessibility and maintains a welcoming atmosphere for all ages at select events.
