About Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort

The Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort is a unique 46-room boutique hotel originally opened as a hunting lodge in 1919. Located at the gateway between Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs the lodge offers a fleet of bikes for guests and features live music five nights a week Wednesday through Sunday.

Music Programming

The lodge hosts the Black Rose Acoustic Society Open Mic on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:00 PM to 8:40 PM followed by an open jam until 9:00 PM. Performers can sign up starting at 5:30 PM for a 3-song set on a first-come first-served basis. Sunday afternoons feature the Colorado Springs Pickers Bluegrass Jam from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The venue also presents live concerts throughout the week featuring folk Americana and bluegrass artists.

Annual Events

The Buffalo Lodge hosts the BuffaloGrass Music Festival each October a three-day celebration featuring 16 bands across two stages with daily picking circles jam sessions yoga bike rides and local food trucks. The intimate log-cabin atmosphere provides excellent acoustics and a family-friendly environment.
