About Prohibition

Prohibition is a jazz-age inspired restaurant and bar located in beautiful downtown Charleston offering Southern-inspired cuisine and award-winning cocktails. The venue features live music and DJs regularly creating an energetic atmosphere.

Music Programming

The venue hosts bluegrass brunch every Sunday from 11am-2pm featuring New Ghost Town fronted by Daniel Patrick on mandolin and vocals. The band plays traditional bluegrass standards and bluegrass-styled versions of songs from the 70s through today. Saturday brunch features soulful singer-songwriter Krystal Halvorson from 11am-2pm with unique takes on classics from the 50s to today.

Dining Experience

Prohibition serves brunch Thursday through Sunday and dinner nightly. The menu features locally-sourced Southern-inspired dishes. The venue includes a main dining room seating 70 guests and beautiful climate-controlled outdoor patio spaces. With live jazz swing and big band music plus weekend DJs the venue maintains a lively speakeasy atmosphere perfect for dining and dancing.
