Chattanooga's favorite weird little venue since 2006 JJ's Bohemia is an eclectic music and comedy space that has earned a cult following among artists performers and audiences seeking authentic underground entertainment.

Music Programming

JJ's books an extraordinarily diverse range of live music from rock and punk to hip-hop electronic psychedelic and experimental genres. The venue hosts local bands touring acts and genre-specific shows multiple nights per week. The intimate space with its back patio and artistic vibe creates perfect conditions for discovering new music and emerging artists.

Comedy Scene

Every Wednesday night features free comedy open mic providing local comedians with a stage to test new material and build audiences. The venue has hosted nationally recognized comedians and maintains its commitment to supporting the stand-up comedy community.

The Vibe

A true dive bar in the best sense JJ's features no-frills authenticity with legit character. The walls are covered with local art and music posters. There is a smoke-friendly policy and an incredibly welcoming door policy making it accessible to all regardless of appearance or background. Shows generally start at 10 PM and band load-in is 8-9:30 PM. All band members receive 50 percent off drinks.
