About Prytania Bar

Located on the edge of the historic Garden District, The Prytania Bar is a simple, laid-back neighborhood watering hole with ample seating around a 360-degree bar.

Music and Events

The venue hosts live music with a focus on local talent. Every other Friday at 9:00 PM, the bar features an open mic night hosted by Tim Curry. The venue provides a small stage area (not raised) with a 4-channel PA system and two microphones with stands.

Bar Features

The Prytania Bar offers a taste of Southern Regional Craft beers on tap, fun cocktails, spicy Bloody Marys, and their most popular beverage - the Iced Irish Coffee. Trivia nights happen Wednesdays at 7:30 PM.

Daily Specials

Monday: $2 Domestic Beers all day. Tuesday: $2 Well Liquor, Wines & Champagne. Wednesday: Trivia at 7:30pm plus late-night happy hour. Thursday-Friday: Happy Hour 4-8pm with $1 off all draft beer and liquor. Saturday-Sunday: $5 Big Bloody Mary 11am-7pm. During crawfish season (March-May), Fridays feature $10 All You Can Eat Crawfish 5-8pm.
