Awards and Recognition
Pat's has earned significant recognition including being voted both Best BBQ and Best Catering Company in 2023 - a historic achievement as the first business to win both awards simultaneously. The restaurant was featured on Food Network's Diners Drive-ins and Dives where host Guy Fieri praised owner Pat Barber as a culinary professional for his masterful smoking techniques including 10-hour smoked briskets chickens and sausages.
Music Programming
Howie's Hall at Pat's BBQ features live music Thursday through Saturday nights showcasing some of the best local and touring bands in Utah. The venue has become particularly important to the acoustic music community hosting the monthly IAMA Acoustic Showcase which provides a platform for Utah's local singer-songwriters and original artists. The IAMA showcase runs on select Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 PM.
