Hub Cafe Overview
Hub Cafe is a unique farmer-owned restaurant that has been serving the Lincoln community since January 2016. Located at the scenic Jayne Snyder Trails Center in Lincoln's Telegraph District the cafe is owned and operated by Branched Oak Farm and maintains a strong commitment to sourcing local ingredients for their menu.
Farm-to-Table Philosophy
The cafe is rooted in community connections and sustainable food sourcing. They work directly with local growers and small farms in Lincoln and the surrounding area to provide the freshest ingredients. This commitment allows them to serve the freshest best-tasting produce dairy products and meat to inspire creative dishes. The menu features unique breakfast and lunch options made from local eggs meat dairy and produce.
Live Music and Events
Hub Cafe has become a cornerstone of Lincoln's live music scene hosting open mic nights on the first and third Thursday of each month from 5-8pm. These events are presented in partnership with Roots Music Shop who sponsor the equipment setup. The open mic welcomes musicians singers comedians and poets and always concludes with a large jam session. Chefs Jake and Kelley provide a rotating monthly menu of pizza and small bites to enjoy during performances.
The venue also participates in Hub and Soul a free community event designed for people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate music local food and Lincoln's parks. These events are held on select dates throughout the summer months at the nearby Union Plaza Amphitheatre.
Friday Night Live Music
Every Friday night the Hub Cafe features live local music with a rotating monthly menu of creative pizzas and small bites creating a vibrant atmosphere to start the weekend. The venue is easily accessible being walkable bikeable and offering car parking. The Jayne Snyder Trails Center is also available for private events outside regular business hours making it a versatile space for celebrations and gatherings.
