Goodwood Brewing and Spirits

One of Kentucky's longest continuously operated breweries Goodwood has been crafting beer in Louisville since 1990. Located in a historic downtown warehouse on Main Street the brewery purchased Bluegrass Brewing Company and rebranded as Goodwood in 2015.

Brewing Philosophy

Goodwood specializes in barrel-aged beers believing what's good for bourbon is good for beer. Kentucky bourbon barrels create bold flavors creative profiles and higher ABV beers. Beyond barrel-aged offerings the brewery produces a full range of craft beers including honey ale blackberry sour and hazy IPA. The taproom features 12 Goodwood-brewed beers on tap plus wine and local Kentucky spirits.

Food & Atmosphere

The kitchen serves southern-inspired cuisine with staples like Chicken and Waffles Fried Green Tomatoes and a brisket-topped burger. The old warehouse taproom maintains an authentic industrial character with various seating options in a space approximately 25 feet by 45 feet dating from the late 1800s.

Weekly Events

The brewery hosts Music Bingo on Tuesdays and Trivia on Thursdays. Every Saturday from 3-6 PM the 502 Stringband leads an open bluegrass jam that's been running for years. Musicians bring fiddles banjos guitars mandolins and basses to participate in traditional acoustic picking. No cover charge - just bring your instrument or sit back with a craft beer and enjoy.

Live Music

Beyond the bluegrass jam Goodwood hosts live music every weekend featuring local bands and musicians. The brewery maintains a welcoming atmosphere for both performers and patrons with no cover charges for most events.
