Cypress is a vibrant music venue and restaurant located in the heart of Midtown Reno at 761 South Virginia Street. Formerly known as The Saint the venue reopened in 2022 with state-of-the-art acoustics and a modern atmosphere designed specifically for live music lovers. With a capacity of 300-400 guests Cypress creates an intimate yet energetic environment where every seat offers excellent visibility of the stage.

The venue showcases live music across all genres including rock blues funk bluegrass indie alternative and more. Wednesday nights feature Open Spike Night hosted by Spike McGuire - a two-time winner of Reno's Best Open Mic award. This songwriting-focused open mic runs from 7-10pm and welcomes original material with house microphones available. Thursday through Saturday nights bring touring bands from across the country plus talented local musicians. The sound system is consistently praised as one of the best in Reno with professional sound engineers ensuring top-quality audio for every performance.

Food Drink & Atmosphere

Cypress offers a full bar featuring diverse craft beers on tap and expertly crafted cocktails. The restaurant menu highlights delicious wings BBQ and other crowd favorites. An outdoor patio provides additional space for guests to relax between sets. Most shows are 21+ with occasional all-ages and 18+ events.
