Copper Rocket Pub

The Copper Rocket Pub is a beautifully decorated neighborhood pub in Maitland that has been serving the community since 1995. Following a complete renovation and relaunch in February 2018 the venue has established itself as a beloved spot for quality food drinks and live entertainment.

Venue Features

Located in the Village Plaza on Lake Avenue the pub features original murals on the walls a smoke-free environment and an impressive selection of craft beers wines and wine on tap. With over 35 TVs throughout the venue it's an ideal spot for watching sporting events while enjoying quality pub fare. The new menu includes house-made chili giant pretzels wings and classic pub favorites.

Open Mic Tuesday

Every Tuesday night Copper Rocket hosts open mic presented by OrlandoBands.com. The event features an amazing sound system with PA and microphones provided along with a dedicated sound engineer. Sign-ups begin at 7 PM with performances running throughout the night. Musicians can expect to play 2-5 songs depending on turnout with occasional featured artists getting extended sets around 9:30 PM. Two Dollar Tuesday specials on tacos burgers and shots make this a popular weekly destination.

Entertainment and Community

Beyond open mic nights the pub hosts trivia and karaoke events plus live music on Saturday nights. The venue maintains a welcoming casual yet trendy ambience perfect for a fun night out. Musicians should note that drum sets are not provided and guitar amps should not exceed 2x12 combo size. DI boxes are available for bass guitar keys and other line-level instruments. The venue has a no metal/screamo policy to maintain appropriate sound levels for the space.
