Bear's on Fairfield is located at the corner of Fairfield and Southern Avenue inside the Alvin Building in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood. This locally owned establishment serves as one of the city's favorite watering holes and cultural centers for local visual and musical artists. Reopened in 2017 by owner Colton Johnson the venue was originally established in the late 1990s and has survived the test of time through community support.

Bear's operates with extended hours seven days a week. Sunday through Thursday 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Friday and Saturday 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The late-night operations provide a safe environment for artists musicians and community members. Parking is available on site.
