10 Torr Distilling & Brewing is a unique craft beverage destination located at 490 Mill Street in Reno housed in a beautifully renovated 1940s-era grocery store. The venue is renowned for its revolutionary vacuum distillation technology which produces exceptionally smooth spirits by distilling at extremely low pressure and below room temperature. This innovative process preserves delicate flavors and eliminates harshness without artificial additives resulting in award-winning gin vodka whiskey and other spirits. All brewing and distilling equipment was custom designed and built in-house demonstrating the team's commitment to innovation and quality.
Taproom & Events
The modern industrial-style taproom features exposed brick barrel tables Edison bulbs and high ceilings that highlight the building's architectural character. An outdoor patio welcomes dogs and offers lawn games creating a relaxed social atmosphere. The venue hosts weekly events including Open Mic Tuesdays on the first Tuesday of each month hosted by Kat Heart. This welcoming open mic runs 6-9pm and invites performers of all experience levels to share music comedy or other talents. Trivia Wednesdays provide competitive fun while Thursday through Sunday feature comedy nights pop-up events and special themed gatherings.
Craft Beverages
The tap list features over a dozen house-brewed beers ranging from crisp Blonde Ales and refreshing Mexican lagers to robust Imperial Stouts and hazy IPAs. Popular selections include Hop Tramp IPA Secret Cove Cerveza and Fight Milk white stout with cold brew coffee. The cocktail menu showcases the house-distilled spirits in creative drinks like Lavender Lemonade Blueberry Sage Spritz Spiced Apple and the spicy Amantes Picantes. Canned cocktails are also available for purchase. Every seat at bar and tables includes purse hooks and electrical outlets for charging devices.
Food & Atmosphere
Local food trucks regularly park outside offering diverse dining options from Greek-American to BBQ and more. The venue is 21+ and offers distillery tours to showcase the unique vacuum distillation process. Weekend brunch features Mimosa Flights and Bloody Marys from noon to 5pm. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 3-9pm Friday-Saturday noon-midnight and Sunday noon-9pm.
